Pastor Jay W. McCaig Sr. is a native of Lakeland Florida. He and his wife, Vee, have served at Crossroads Baptist since 1997. Pastor Jay was ordained as Senior Pastor in 2006. Since that time attendance has more than doubled and hundreds have come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
However, numbers only tell part of the story. The congregation has witnessed the results of spiritual growth in stewardship, service, unity, and a sense of mission.
Pastor Jay also serves as the Staff Chaplain for St. Cloud Regional Medical Center, and teaches Men's Bible study classes at Osceola County Jail.
